finalli exam's over. am so happi. no more rushing to wake up each day to complete de endless stack of readings.

now i'm suffering from post-traumatic disorder. suddenly nothing to do and feeling uncomfortable.

Walao FAIL

Last sat watch gran torino wif vic. It was a nice movie.

Have been feeling awkward wif ma teeth now. Cos can't pronounce S properli. So embarrassing especially during marketing presentation today, such that it lowered ma confidence level.

Yesterday's statistics quiz was a disaster. Clock was ticking, yet I had mental block and got stuck on calculations. Failed. Got 4/10.

Today's econs quiz was a little better.

Tomorrow got email writing test. Sian. I tot such exercise should be conducted on primary sch kids.

Marley and Me

Yesterday went on a tour of 3 cinemas - shaw house, cineleisure and shaw parco bugis. Not tat I haf nothing much to do, but it was an observation survey for ma marketing proj.

Settled down at de national library to proceed with report writing. Totalli stoned.

Had dinner at qiji - my favourite set no. 3 nasi lemak with chicken, otah, eggs and ikan bilis. I'll never buy de barley again cos it was tasteless! One fella still told mi because it was 'pure barley' and healthy! Wtf. If use rock sugar oso healthy wat.

Today skipped morning's econ lecture. Come to think of it, I have only attended econs lecture thrice for the whole of this semester. Sad case.

Attended stats class for only an hour.

Did own stuff before it's downtown time! Skipped marketing lecture. Similarly, not attended any of the lecture since the start of a new term after ma one week break. Happi ponning!

Had dinner with cal at ngee ann city's yoshinoya before we catch 7pm's Marley and Me at cineleisure. Nice nice movie. However, Marley and Me's impact is not as strong on me compared to Departures. The latter could really create a Fountain of Wealth!

Another day..

Another day is passing by. Deadline is getting nearer and nearer. So many assignment, quizzes, project presentation and reports and the most dreadful of all - exams!

Forgot whom I spoke to. Let him/her be Person A.

Me: If only I had 48 hours a day.

Person A: Then there'll be even more work to do.

Me: My god, I am holding other things constant lah! As what economists like to say "ceteris paribus!"

Initially wanted to go temple with mum today. But the weather was against us and we dropped the plan. So I continued with ma work =) Stress, but happy =)

Ma desk gets more messy with each passing day.

Suddenly I realised exam's less than a month away. Yet there's still quite a few projects left undone.

Returned home directly after class and started studying again.

In class when serene said she memorised for econs n got A, i got a bit demoralised. Cos i aren't good at memorising. So no A for mi? Haix... i shall try to understand de concept n write in ma own words?

Scribbled way too many notes tat i came across in de textbook till it turned out to be messy and undecipherable. god bless mi.

till now, ma heart is still yearning to watch marley and me, but it's soon gonna be over.

Departures

Had case presentation on priceline yesterday. Then my stomach was super hungry, so I popped by at JCO donuts in city hall to relax maself at one corner. Ate ma peanut and tiramisu donuts, with a cup of thai iced tea. sedap! then jeff called to say he's just off work so we met up over dinner at killiney. Put down ma heavy stuff at his house before that. There's this platform in his living room which I felt was quite cool. Could be used as a stage to practise for presentation =) But it was the bungalow opposite that caught ma attention... it belongs to one of LKY's family. I didn't know such a house exist in somerset. The pathway leading to the house is sooooo long...

Then i said: "Wah if tis is ma house den i have to walk veri long everidae hor?"

Jeff said: "Do u tink u still nid to walk if u live in tat house?"





There's this thai restaurant. We ate coconut soup (tom yam plus coconut base), phad thai, pineapple rice and green curry. In fact I was oredi full, but wasn't too nice to decline the offer? Lol.

In the end ma stomach got so bloated that i can't fall asleep the whole nite.

Today after class met lan for movie. Watched "Departures" at plaza singapure. Till ma eyes teary. Whole theatre could hear ppl sneezing their nose. Lol. Initial part may seem uninteresting and slow moving. But I could see a positive linear curve where it just got hold of everyone's emotions more and more intense.

Walked to far east plaza at 7 plus for dinner of fried mee goreng, tom yum and fried wanton. Bloated again. Cos since morning I onli ate pandan cakes. bumped into feng and i left home immediately.

Coming Soon

Had presentation on organisational behaviour today. Went okay in ma opinion. Our presentation style was a news sudio roleplay style, with me as the newscaster. Ruoyi got a shock when at the end of our presentation, she said I spoke very differently from normal with my slang this time round. Newscaster mah, of course speaks differently. Every word I must pronounce it precisely. and emphasise on some words to have high-low pitch. In fact, I used to dream of becoming a newscaster. But my ugly set of teeth changed my planned career path. I did not even think of braces last time. Next time I wanna be in hotel PR. But I am too short! Keke.

Watched "Coming Soon" at Marina Square. Got a horrifying time man. When back home in the lift I kept imagining got a white figure behind me. Anyway I seen quite a few. In my dad's room as well.

Tomorrow going to have breakfast with my beloved Mum before going nlb to be a bookworm. Now I don't think I even qualify as booksmart as what an idiotic friend said of me, coz I got trouble understand national economy. Fuck man. I only know how to spend money. When people spend money, that is economy.

Next presentation: marketing case on priceline... seriously I will never book through priceline coz it is pricey. I will rather book through zuji.com.sg anytime.

My First New Suit

Got my first new suit yesterday from Mohan's tailor in Far East Plaza. Happy-happy. I feel it has a nice cutting on me. Broad shoulder and slim waist. Must maintain!

Paid 280 bucks for it, cos it was made-to-measure.

Received a good news from prof that deadline for marketing project individual report will be extended by 2 more weeks from 23 March 2009 to 06 April 2009. Whopping 2 weeks' extension! Why not extend until end of exam even better?? Haha... He scared if we too stressed up he'll be purged? Seems like I should drop my plan to do so =p

With this piece of good news, I shall go relac-king a bit. Going to watch movie in Cineleisure tomorrow. But not too sure what we shall watch.

Oh, the other day in Bugis I saw a caucasian carrying a bag that resembled one of my most detestable kiddy primary school bags. Because the bag itself was already heavy without any books inside. Once I put my books in, it's like carrying sacks of rice. Plus during primary school days, I don't even know what subjects were being taught for the day, so it's a "pack your bag on day 1 of new term and never unpack again" kind.

Weekend's over!

On sat went national library to do project with NB. Sat all the way from 1230 to 2100 closing! Had our dinner at KFC which made me wanna puke cos it was sooooo oily and yucks!

Reached home at 9 plus and Haley picked me up for a cuppa at East Coast Park. Had my usual hot vanilla from Coffeebean. Reached home at almost 0100.

On sun, studied econs at home till evening before attending cousin's wedding at Conrad Centennial Hotel. Coincidentally, got to meet up with Lan who was on duty at that time. A 9-course dinner which lasted till 2230. No joke! As what sis said, all dishes doesn't taste nice except for the dessert - cheng tng and bitter chocolate cake.

Oh, I took 3 mini bears from the table home. When I told Lan about it, he told me got a big one he kept for me and will pass it to m this friday. Keke. These gifts are how hotels tangibalise their products? I know Ritz Carlton's room got a duckling. It's a mini duck so when you soak in the bathtub, you can play with it.

Today skipped lecture again. Have been skipping lectures for few months lol. Waste of time attending anyway but hope I won't fail lol.

Am happy to be nominated for Pusan National University. But not happy when I was told today that I needed to submit an official bank statement as a proof that I got money! Wtf. But nevermind. I submitted an "online" bank statement instead and you know what the bloody officer told me? "Most likely it will not be accepted by your host university because people can modify the numbers on the statement if printed online." Knn fuck sia that fellow.

Told me to go bank proper, but I got no time! Anyway, shall just wait for the outcome. If not approved, then forget it. Apply next round. But no more Korea! Not as though the university is top 50 or whatsoever.

Thursday off

Yesterday was super duper tired. Cos the previous day I had a bad sleep.

I remember asking Ed on sms: "Why is tired pronounced as tired and not ti-red?"

Ed: "Ha ha my english is lousy.. Hmm, ti-red pronounce as tài réd while tired as tä-yd. So thats why we use tired. Not ti-red."

I totally blur when I read the reply.

Went tailor in Far East Plaza after school to make my suit. Costs me 280 bucks! Gonna eat grass for the next two weeks. If I purchase from G2000, a blazer will cost me 199 bucks. Plus pants of 69 bucks. Even though it will be a little lesser than the cost of tailor-made suits, it doesn't really have a nice cutting on me, since I am small built.

Met rz in City Hall, walked to Clarke Quay chillout then returned home. Reached home at 11pm plus, did some readings before sleeping.

Today's off day!

Today is my off day. But I guai guai stayed home to do projects. Just completed a speech presentation for boh-liao communications module.

Remembered the prof - an old lady - asking the class: "How do you craft your speech so that your audience will know that you will be ending?"

One idiot said "Just by flashing THE END on the powerpoint slide!" HAHA... no wonder people say NTU students' language skills aren't as good as NUS lol.

Prof stabbed

Statistics quiz yesterday sucks. Got only 8/14. It was not because I didn't know how to do, but a few marks had been deducted because I did not click "submit!" Until siao zhar bor shouted at me upon seeing my time clock is still running. LOL.


Got a shock upon hearing siao zhar bor beside me shouting over the phone when her friend called to say a prof had been stabbed and the culprit had committed suicide. What a hoo-hah.


Personally, I will side the student (yes, one-sided perhaps?), because few people in the right mind will do such an act had the prof been nice and supportive. My mind was hoping it was Prof Stewart Arnold! He's really the biggest idiot for he is unethical!

Imagine if NTU was a listed company. Wah! Immediately stock price plunge =)

Started using Pioneer Station yesterday, and sunset was so beautiful.
