September Issue

Watched September Issue at ps yesterday wif dearie. initialli i tot it was gonna be like "devil wears prada" kind of movie, but turned out to be a documentary on VOGUE fashion magazine.

Anihow, it did not disappoint mi cos i was fascinated by how much work a fashion magazine company has to undertake in order to publish an issue. And September issue is the most complicated issue yearly, because of the change in season into autumn? but i dunno wat's so special abt autumn. perhaps de caucasians celebrate mid-autumn festival on a grand scale haha.

saying of mid-autumn festival reminded mi of mooncakes. sis bought mooncakes fr bakerzinn. left mi salivating. snowskin with brandy even. sometimes i don't realli like to try out new stuff, but tis one was nice. but i can't eat too much, not because i am poor in holding ma liquor, but eating too much will make ma stomach bloat!

And oh, the director of VOGUE magazine being documented portrayed a character that was outrageously picky, demanding, blant and fiery-looking. I wonder if successful director has to have such traits. She looks soooo style despite her age. Used to be fashion model.

Of all the shots I've seen in the doucumentary, the one where de camera man was also made to jump was de best of all. Isn't it kind of revolutionary, floating in empty space? Eagerness for the camera, as portrayed by the female model. The female on the right, Grace, was a veri gorgeous ex-model in her teens, but was met with an accident and had to work in fashion designer department. She said: "We're all perfect in our own ways."

Veri interesting! Must watch. Good for students studying arts, management, marketing, design...

after de movie, had dinner at Xin Wang outlet in citylink tat sells taiwanese food. Ate tis beehoon with minced pork. ichiban!

later we went east coast park. no wind at all. walked along bedok jetty and came across tis particular shelter... suddenli, i had a flashback, well, i should say a reminiscence...

...of stormy sea, heavy rain and strong winds... rain water was splattering on our whole body. we were all wet and yelling in excitement. the one pathetic umbrella din work well for the 3 of us, so we were stranded under that shelter which looked like a bus stop. As i looked far out into the sea at that moment, I imagined myself peering out of the window on a cruise ship. Treacherous sea though. When the rain was almost gone, we left too... time flies indeed. it was 4 years back, in 2005? And yes, each of us is no different from a single rain drop, one that ultimately gets diminished after a rhythmatic dance. Nb, shaf and I formed an individual rain drop during that passing shower.

I wonder wat 4 years later will hold for me.

todae, i studied with ken at de airport. suddenli, i asked: "hey, y r we still studying together now after 6 years since we graduated from sec sch? And jokingly, *i'm getting so sick!*" Haha.

todae am on vegetarian. so onli got to eat 1 apple pie from mac for dinner. vegetarian stall in kopitiam foodcourt in t3 had closed down.

de thought of coming mon is making mi nervous. presentation on negotiation for business communication module. 10 mins will seem like forever for mi.
