Had a bad dream last night. Dreaming of ghost is still not so bad. But dreaming of a tormentous workout is 10x worse! Perhaps tis daes i keep nagging at sis to work out more cos she's going out of shape n tat her wedding is coming in november, such tat i dreamt of myself running in bedok stadium. Never mind that. But under super hot sun! 1 round is still ok. But it was ma 5th round, and I am not stopping until de 6th round! Plus, running in the stadium is de most boring activity to me on earth. I'll rather run along east coast park. Can you imagine how tiring sleeping can be? which left mi panting for breath like a dog.
Went J.B.'s city square to shop earlier tis afternoon by maself.
Took train from home to bugis. Sat beside a filippino, whose mouth was foul smelling tat i almost puked. Yet i dun wanna stand n walk away cos i wanna charge ma legs fully to walk all de way to johor? Wonder if she hadn't drink water for veri long, did not brush teeth or simply too heaty. I'm super fussy when it comes to breath hygiene, especially so after i've put on braces. I try to brush my teeth after every meal at home without fail, and if i'm outside i'll haf ma special toothbrush with me or at least rinse ma mouth. I couldn't be more glad to reach bugis, after wat was supposed to be a 20-min ride seemed like going on forever and forever.
Reached J.B. and realised de causeway link bus had alighted me at a totally new immigration complex. Though new and blowing the powerful aircon in scorching hot weather is as fortunate as finding water in a desert, I had to walk triple the distance of the old immigration complex to reach city square. Spare ma tiring legs in flip-flop.
First thing first, i bought 2 boxes of acuvue dailies' contact lens for a total of 160 ringgit. initialli i tot it'll be cheaper than in sg, but turned out to be more expensive. Kena conned! Sis later told mi she bought 1 box for onli $33? But haf to buy online in bulk from
http://www.lens.com/.
Had afternoon tea at secret recipe. Ate apple crumbles' cake with ma favourite earl grey tea which some said smelled like baygon insecticide? The cake was nice for de first few bites, but thereafter i had to keep drinking tea, if not it juz wouldn't go down ma throat (or esophagus to be exact) anymore. Veri cheap though. Total ringgit 14 plus.
While sitting in de restaurant, de ugly side of singaporeans come to play. Got 2 aunties chatting about their children - Aunty A and Aunty B. Aunty A was loud, Aunty B quiet.
Aunty A
(saying to Aunty B): Eh, tot still got 1 more snack, haven't come hor?
Aunty B: Oh.
Aunty A: Wait, wait, wait! I ask de waitress!
(There she asked de waitress, pointing to the promotion leaflet at the same time).
A waitress brought along the snack, which turned out to be keropok.
Aunty A: Hello
(waving for the waitress)! Can refill our drink for us? See
(pointing her finger at de glass), we finished it lah! Like that how to eat our snack? Got water?
Waitress: Oh, yes....
Aunty B
(saying to Aunty A): Eh, the water later need to pay additional?
Aunty A
(shouted to the waitress): HELLO! Come, come. Need money for de water?
Waitress: Yes.
Aunty A: Oh then no need water lah!
Just as both were about to finish the keropok, Aunty A came up with another nonsense.
Aunty A
(saying to the waitress): Hello! Still got 1 more snack haven't come right? You gave us 1. But we got 2 people.
Waitress: No, we combined the 2 sets of keropok together.
Aunty A: Oh i see.
My goodness... Wat a great time i had observing tis 2 typical aunties juz across de border. Thank god ma mum isn't tat drastic. At most she'll rushed for de train seat, leaving mi feeling so paiseh. Instead of standing by de side waiting for passengers to alight first, she'll stand directly at where the arrow is pointing on the floor, juz behind de yellow line. Somehow her rate of success is quite high, usually 8 out of 10 times.
Before going home from city square, i popped by F.O.S outlet to buy 4 shirts for 97 ringgit. If onli i got more money to buy more.
Money, money, why do you like rich people but not me?
