Airport, Vivo, Airport

Had dinner at airport t3 kopitiam, of fish sliced soup wif mee suah. feeling sick. so had dat one. on normal days, give mi soup base n i'll juz lose ma appetite.

conrad came later n off we went to vivo. saw tis european dolls at a shop which looked eerie to mi. n saw a ship model of queen mary 2 which i wanted to buy but decided not to coz looked kiddish to mi?

snapped a photo of tis freedom of de seas cruise liner of royal caribbean. it's been a long time since i've taken a proper cruise line. de superstar series of star cruises oredi bored mi.

had ma swiss pastry n camomile tea wif honey (coz i'm having sore throat) at marche. Will i get to eat more of tis in swiss?

I wanted to watch plane landing, so we returned to changi. wanted to stop at a corner facing de runway but a guard post has been erected there so we cud longer do so. sian. de sound of planes taking off excites mi to de max. aviation enthu?

gone is another saturday.

Horrid town

went nlb at seven. borrowed some guidebooks for ma european vacation. was overwhelmed wif sooooooo mani town-goers as soon as i stepped out of de train at bugis.

Met up wif marc for dinner at purvis street's thai restaurant. small olive rice, small pineapple rice, small stir-fried chicken wif cashew nuts n sizeless tom yum kung. all small size but looked like large to us.

next we hiked up fort canning n down towards clarke quay. were super sweaty n seemed like we had juz come out from de bathroom.

last visited clarke quay was half a year ago wif nb, where we had dinner at an indian restaurant which left ma lips like sausage.

had ma vodka lime at fashion bar which tasted awful. den it's home sweet home.

& oh, saw tis extreme swing n i felt like playin it 1 dae.

Stomach flu

dunno is stomach flu or not. after eatin ytd's chicken thigh at de airport, which was like x-large can, stomach began feelin uneasi n nauseous.

got de thought of a whole chicken in ma stomach gg 2 give birth.

tomolo's fri! happi tat weekend is comin, but dunno wat else is there to do.

shall plan for europe trip - swiss n italy now.

Pulsating nightlife - where else but Hong Kong!

I was looking throught ma past videos taken in Hong Kong last December, and thought this vid realli speaks alot about hk. Though not veri clear on tis blog.

Here you could see a lone man standing in the middle of de busy hong kong street, a bus that reflects Bee Cheng Hiang - asia's renowned brand. A mixture of western influence with the prominent Gucci store, and dominance of Japanese stores, in this case de Sogo.

This is hk, de heartbeat of asia. It's so loud!

Shores restaurant

Watched A Night at de Museum 2 yesterday at ps wif cal. Had dinner at xing wang cafe before that. ma blackpepper chicken spaghetti n black sesame paste soup were nice.

De show was filmed at Smithsonian Institution. Been there in 2005 with mum in washington. To me i'm not a museum-person so i found it boring. The exhibits there were old, didn't know it is a museum meant to store archived display from other museums in America, n is de largest museum in the world. Movie was also filmed at de Lincoln Memorial. Been there oso. Kinda reminisced dat day.

Lincoln Memorial - in de movie, Lincoln could come alive n walk. How amazing if it's de case.

Got no pic of de Smithsonian Institution somehow. Dunno where I stored. Perhaps I did not take it with digital camera, but de film camera instead. Aniwae it was such a boring place dat i din bother to take pic there. Juz sat around de benches of de museum wif mum. De aircraft were of de inventor's type where Amelia - first woman to fly across de atlantic, flew. I'll be more interested if it were A380.

Today (fridae), went shores restaurant in east coast park (end) for dinner wif conrad. Din noe there's such a nice place in singapore. With planes above ur head. Ma 1st thought tat i told conrad was: "wah, de plane so noisy. those working here sooner or later become partially deaf hor."

Ambience is ultra good. But location is too inaccessible if u haf no car cos no bus comes here.

We went airport after tat. Each time I see terminal 3's open space, i dun feel like walking any further. Walking across de terminal floor is like walking across a football field. So tiring.

Result for last semester was out tis morning. veri disappointed.

Midweek

Happi tat it's midweek now. yesterdae had dinner at airport. tis morning instead of going run, went to sleep instead.

tml gonna watch a night at de museum 2. hope it'll be veri nice.

Waraku de pasta

Worked tis morning at nee soon camp. so tired.

returned home at 1 plus. napped.

went nlb to return library books. had dinner at waraku de pasta. ma spaghetti got soooo mani clams. like it sooooo veri much. de corn soup was veri nice. same goes to de pizza.

had dessert of gingko, barley n beancurd skin before gg home.

Niagara Falls

Since de veri 1st dae i started work, ppl have been commenting on how skinny i become after leaving for studies.

As i browsed thru ma past fotos, reali shocked mi. Above is a classic example back in 2005. But tat was de year i started to slim down abit.

At an office today, bumped into a co worker.

Her: You slim down alot leh! Wat happen to you?

Me: Yalor, alot of ppl oso said tat.

Her: Aiyo, shouldn't say slim. Used for girls. How come become so skinny?

Me: Skinny is a veri bad word to use. Slim better lor.

Her: Cos gals usualli more sensitive lah. Reali so difficult life huh.

Me: Mi oso veri sensitive leh. Uni veri difficult lah. Army life better. haha.

Hate ppl sae i skinny. Jus like how i hate ppl used to sae i'm fat.

Mother's Day Dinner and Vesak Day

Went boon tong kee for dinner at boon keng ytd cos near sis' yoga place. mum n i went walkabout 1st before sis n bro-in-law reached.

de crispy toufu super nice. onli 6 bucks.

still got chicken, kailan and sliced fish. total 50 bucks.

todae went guanyin temple in bugis in de morning. came back to queue at the market for vegetarian bee hoon. at first i tot de horrid long queue was de chicken rice store. but when i walked nearer, "WAH! Vegetarian store!" At dat time i oredi felt ma stomach had been detached fr ma body. hungri beyond words could describe.

bought dao huay oso.

reached home n started planning for european trip. tis is de most challenging trip i've planned. even booked a coach from paris to amsterdam in french language, when i dunno a single word of french. onli noe wat's bonjour comment allez-vous (pronounced as bon-ju, gama da lao hu - y hit the tiger!) which means good morning how are you?

ytd went australian high commission to get a cheaque. went tanglin mall for breakfast at starbucks. again helped out a french couple wif direction. mi dunno how to get to orchard station. so i helped them asked for de direction n pointed de direction to them. but unlike de chinese couple at genting, the french ppl aren't tat polite. not much gratitude. but it's their culture aniwae. tink i'll die in paris when asking for directions.

watched ramen ger after work ytd at tampines mall. had dinner at bali thai prior to movie. de spicy tom yam n phad thai made ma stomach burning in pain tis morning.

went cmpb tis morning den had mac hotcake for breakfast at raffles city's new outlet. i like it's alfresco one veri much. perhaps coz de weather tis morning was perfect.

going bugis later liao.

Swiss summer sweet

here comes ma swiss package. but mood is bleak. cos of de swine flu. later cancel ma trip.

it looks akin to new zealand. went wif mum n sis 3 yrs back. fun cos its serene. fun cos we got 2 take helicopter up mountain n land on glaciers. realli miss tat trip la. n visited many parks. i love parks alot depending on weather.

Birthdae eve

Realised ma bdae gifts are all intangibles tis yr.

Anyway had a long day out. Wc treated mi for lunch at kim gary, before we went to sentosa for tanning. Today's sun was super big. Onli tanned for 15 mins. Tot wouldn't get tanned, who noes now ma body all turned red like lobster.

We went far east plaza, wanted to cut hair b4 i report to camp on mon but all salons were too full. returned to vivo n met nb. had a cuppa at starbucks. dark berry mocha n pastries. caught a movie titled "252." about a rescue team in jap during a disaster. hailstorm, earthquake. scary lor. den i thought of de article i read from chinese newspapers "shanghai, tokyo sinking by 2025." Movie was good, but kinda predictable. De male lead shld die lor.

Treated mi to dinner at earl swensen's. baked mussels, salad, poultry combo, black pepper chicken, french onion soup n soda. tot over oredi n thanked God n nb, but saw a hand extending from behind mi and putting a plate of brownie n choc ice cream on my side. Got a shock, n tot wrong table! ate finished nevertheless. 'simon's' dishes realli made mi thirsty. am cravin for water now.

tired n gg 2 sleep. nitey, am 24 years old. 6 more years to 30. die lah. 6 more years muz b veri fast. juz like how i attended primary 1-6 in a slow blink of eyes.

Tis wish fr nb is especialli sweet: "We have been frens for about six years, you make my days enjoyable, you listen to me grumble, you give me advice, most importantly you are there for me. Happy Birthday to a wonderful friend! My wishes are always with you and may all your wishes come true!"

Even though i dun haf much friends, but i think one veri good friend measure up more than having many but superficial friends.
